Meet Charles Diggans
Founder and Owner of End Game Solutions
I started EGS because I really enjoy helping companies improve and seeing the results. My approach is based on over 45 years of experience not only working for large corporations, but also time spent leading and working with smaller companies. I have worked with hundreds of small and mid-sized businesses and learned first-hand the difference between success and failure. I have also been directly involved at the highest level with some of the largest corporations in the world and find the same principles apply.
I’ve spent the past 13 years as a senior consultant for a U.S. based subsidiary of Saudi Aramco where we had oversight of Motiva Enterprises, a joint venture with partner Shell Oil Company. I initiated the effort to convince both owners that changes were needed at Motiva and led the process of successfully recruiting a new leadership team, including the CEO who came on board the beginning of 2013. The results were astounding as noted by the following quote in 2015 from Terry Pratt, Director Standard & Poor’s U.S. Energy Infrastructure; “…very impressive performance and in my time at Standard and Poor’s I have never seen a turn-around of a company so significant in such a short period of time. Truly impressive performance…”
Late in 2015 the two owners of Motiva agreed to dissolve the partnership. This was due to a misalignment of the respective companies’ global strategy more than the successful operation of Motiva. Over the next two years, I led the U.S. Aramco team in the complex task of negotiating the value and separation of a $30 billion company. Motiva emerged as a wholly owned subsidiary and operates at a very high level today as it expands into the chemical business.
